Resurgence Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

Resurgence

Rating: 5.0

To forget is a blessing
to those who let things go
the sunset doesn't carry light
beyond horizon's low

Crimson is the hue that spreads
at the ocean's face
darkness is the bleed
its rejection leaves behind

That which goes tonight
would come back says Twilight
her name is Dawn and Dusk
she - a witness to days and nights

Rise or fall or light or shade
resurgent - every life

Forgetting pains and failures and developing the ability to bounce back is the greatest attitude to be learnt in life to lead a happy life. Great thought dear friend!

@ Santha Those who are born must die. That is inevitable. Nobody is able take anything along with. Hence rejection. Darkness means the loss sustained by the close relatives of the deceased. Bleeding stands for the resultant grief. Any grief would pass on to oblivion over the passage of time. The wise would soon get adjusted to it. Hence 'to forget is a blessing'. Please read Bhagavad Gita.2: 27. Thanks for your reading and for your wise feedback Madam

" To forget is a blessing .................... Darkness is the bleed That rejection leaves behind. " Great imagery interwoven with reality. Keep on writing sir, for your admiring fans will be waiting.
