Parents have special care towards their children. They always advise them to do good and to look at heaven where god is. They can't tell about. A beautiful and meaningful poem in concise is nicely presented.10

He was very fortunate to have had such a meaningful relationship with his parents. Thank you for your very positive feedback, Kumarmani.

Very thought provoking, Richard. Yes, I seem to recall Kerouac saying his mother was the only woman he could ever love. You tie Kerouac to his parents, drawing attention to the point that parents are tied to creation and creating. I'm now also thinking about the extremes the parents represented...Kerouac's mother clinging to devotion and his father grasping at what might have been atheism. A great work, Richard.

M.J., Kerouac's mother continued with her devotion to God. Her influence on Jack was an extension of the role modelling played by Gerard. His father cursed God after Gerard's death, but still believed in Him (I think) . Thanks for believing it to be a great work.

Carl, Kerouac had a very unique relationship with his parents. Especially with his mother! In many ways, it reminded me of the one with Elvis and his mom.
