Revitalize Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Revitalize

Most deserts are dry,
Parched of anything that's life.
So rarely does it rain,
To trace the withered trail
Where fun
has evaporated away.
The crust of dried lips,
Afraid to smile. Most deserts
are depicted one way,
when they can
In fact be anywhere. So can you,
in beautiful chaos.
You appear and moisturize
Every part of me. Following
the rough cracked parts
of me that have hardened
With time. You've rained down
With your laugh, and your smile.
Dust has no where to hide
