Ridiculing Others Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Ridiculing Others

Best it is to learn to listen.
And observe,
With undivided attention given.
Hearing the words spoken to hear,
How the ones ridiculing others...
Do this to entertain.
From centerstage done to do it.

Then keep in mind as time passes on,
What becomes of the joker.
Who spent their time,
Doing it to make...
Others they picked to appear as fools.
Only to take the opportunity,
To be a bigger fool...
Than those they chose to ridicule!

Proving,
Ridiculing others done to do,
As time passes on.
Has its own price in public to pay.
And not too kind,
Is the payment demanded to be paid.
Regardless of pathetic excuses made.
