Roxanne My Dear Friend Poem by Jenny Molloy

Roxanne My Dear Friend

Rating: 5.0

If I were to tell you how you make me feel, it would take a full year.
All you would have to do it look out your window and take it all in.
A young bird needs his mother like I need you.
A dog wants his owner the same as I want you.
You’re the person I want to be with till I die.
The one I want to hold my hand when I’m scared.
Someone to help me through the darkness and laugh with in the light.
You are the sun in my day and the moon in my night.
If my tears where the sea you are the ship on the shoulder were I cry.
You help me stand tall like a sun flower and pick me up when I fall.
You help carry my load of worries and make them disappear.
I can not say how I feel, how I love to call you my friend.
This is only the beginning of a long friendship.
I do not know what is around the corner and fear tomorrow might end today,
If I do not make it till the end, if my time passes to fast for earthier of us to stop it,
I want you to know that you’re the one person I truly love.
Me and you mean there is no need to say hello because no matter where we are in this world, you are always right beside my heart.
I need you like the daisy needs water.
I love you like a mother loves there child.
You mean life and death to me.
You are my sister.
You are my shelter.
Your are my best friend.
So look out your window and you will see the world passing by.
You will see how every one needs someone and you will see exactly what you mean to me.
