Rtfm 20 The Ghost In The Words - Poem by Stewart McKenzie

The ghost in the words
The voice in the signs
The figure in the scribbles
That hides between the lines
Can make you laugh
Can make you cry
Can make you think
That you can fly

I really love this. When I write my best poetry, I have this eerie feeling that a ghost hides within it and sometime smiles.

Your poem so fascinated me. It reminded me that the first typewriter I met and grew up with was a Yost. There was always the subtle suggestion to a child that it had a soul of its own... (Report)Reply

I like it because it is simple but clever! (Report)Reply
