Sadly Missed
Gone are the departed,
Far away through the heavenly sky,
Grief is a reality,
As tears flow from our eyes.
Memories are the thoughts we have,
Of loved ones sadly missed,
If only we could have them back,
To hug to hold to kiss.
As the years go by,
The heart will heal,
But memories will remain,
Of those who were so precious,
Life will never feel the same.
