Sadness Poem by Emmanuel Missebezi

Sadness

Rating: 4.8

Sadness! Sadness!
Who loves sadness?
Certainly no one,
but that hour when there is quiteness,
all the faces seem to be down.

Definately one realises things aint well, but is there any breakdown? Is there any escape route? Certainly it has to be there. The closed doors to happier life have to be opened.

But who holds the keys? Thats a million dollar question.
Sadness! sadness!
Do you have the guts i wonder?
Haunting at innocent souls or maybe there was a blunder?
Things have to be known
sadness has to be turned into happiness.

Tears can't stop runnin'
on the ever wet cheeks,
fear creaping in the mind,
for weeks and weeks,
help is needed because we are weak and weak.
Sadness! Sadness! Oh Sadness! Sadness!

Wow, awesome poem about sadness, you bring out the fact that no one loves sadness but we keep on retreating to it!

Formidable portrayal of sadness, it makes for a heavy heart and tearful eyes. Yet, to live through it's emptiness, loneliness and abandonment of life, it builds a reservoir of energy and strength, helping to find a way to happiness again. It's experience is a learning of ourselves, giving us insight for the future. Wonderfully written poem, thank you for sharing it.RoseAnn

A good depiction of sadness, well articulated and insightfully penned with conviction. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
