Saint Paul's Church Summer Bazaar 2018 (Senryu) Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

Saint Paul's Church Summer Bazaar 2018 (Senryu)

Rating: 5.0

Big event now comes
Second weekend, month of June:
Saint Paul's church bazaar.

This is big event
Which runs almost two full days
Saturday, Sunday.

Two warm sunny days
With blue sky and some white clouds
People stroll around.

I hold my wife's hand
We walk on grass, after mass
She wears wedge sandals.

Now, last week of Spring,
It's evening but gold sun shines
I see lots of smiles.

Music in background
We say hi! to those around
We eat, talk and smile.

This church tradition
Has been on 36 years
Fund raising with fun.
