Saturday Night Snuggle - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Sweet darling Kira I so truly adore
I dropped off for awhile from the
fatigue and exhaustion I have built up,
I'm still so very tired and struggling
with my need to see you and hold you close.
I'm hurting tonight and feel ever so tired,
I wish I could be with you to spend the night
in complete comfort and peace as my lady
lays next to me.
Sweet beautiful Kira I have but one
small chore in front of me
and it won't take long at all
but the motivation lacks and I just want
to lay here in bed listening to my book
dreaming of sweet beautiful loving you.
I want to snuggle tonight with my sweet Angel dove.
I would get everything set up
so beautiful and nice just so we could
be surrounded in perfect beauty as we embraced.
One chore to do and if snuggling with you after
was something I could look forward to
I'd be done with it in 10 minutes flat
so I could be right back beside you again
looking into your eyes and smiling
as I kissed you so tender and sweetly.
A Saturday night snuggle with you
is not too much to ask.
I know you would come in a flash if
you were able my only one.
A Saturday night snuggle is what I'll
dream of as I lay back down here
after my small task is wrapped up and done.
I'll be sending you all of my care
and endless loving warmth.
Sweet Kira please let's solve everything soon,
I can't describe the love that I feel,
the ways that I've crumbled in the last year.
Just how much I treasure and cherish you my sweet dove,
that you are my dream and the person
who I can feel my soul connect with.
I love you Kira my only darling
and a Saturday night snuggle with my
sweet precious lady is what my heart and soul need.
Receiving your comfort and giving you mine
in complete and total contentment so good.
