Saying Goodbye Poem by Isak Boyd

Saying Goodbye

Tragic as it was,
we watched you fall.
Drowned by a river of your youth.
I'll miss you,
in a place free from memories,
free from pain.
Where the blood of our ancestors
imprints on us
a shared pioneer history.

Know you're loved,
even if you never felt so.
