Saying Goodbye Poem by Timber Koleden

Saying Goodbye

Time comes and goes like the silver tide
Memories are made that never die

Laughter, warmth shared in happy days of peace
No other times compared to these

Brothers, sisters knit together with bonds of love
Blessed so sweetly from above

Now silver wings carry us into the sky
Blue city lights go rushing by

Smiling, laughing, crying, waving goodbye
Because we must fly

But we will remember all those times we had
Faces we have loved, oh don't be sad

We fly away,
We fly away,

But these memories are with us
with us to stay

We fly away,
We fly away,

But in our hearts
We are with you to stay
with you to stay
