Scars Of Our Past Poem by alicia tschantre

Scars Of Our Past

Rating: 4.0

you say you wana know me,
But do you really?
do you see who i am?
Do you see my scars?
look closer, their carves straight into my arm.
Do you see my pain, the tears, streaming down my face.
you hold me in your arms, tell me you care,
but do you really?
How?
Im covered in their filth from what they've all done to m, no matter how many times i shower the filth wont ever leave, it will never go away. cant you see the scars that my past have left behind.
But thats okay becasue today im choosing to make a stand im leaving my scars and past behind.

When things seems like it will never get better remember the thing you have done and how much you have overcome and strong you have become, People will be their to put filth on you cause the way most of us live is pretty gross but you got to carry on and use your strength to deal with the pain like you have but not by cutting yourself by writing because this is a very good write and has a lot of deep meaning to it through this you can express and not feel judged. Keep work like this and spread it and you will go far.

After all you have been through, you must love yourself, no one will care more than you can do to yourself...the dark past, dont let it darken your future! life is for you and it's how you to decorate the next new days...you are not supposed to be harmed bu what people can do for you...Out from their hands and live yourself and struggle for your life, you deserve better life and you will have it if you never surrender, , , never surrender Alicia, make a move even it's hard and let it be the first start toward the open door_Soul

You have washed your past with tears so your scars have washed away in the eyes of God. You are now as innocent and beautiful as a newborn baby. The people who did those nasty things to you will be punished by God. Beautiful poem. God bless you

Nice write... Every word sighs and tells its story.. Whoever reads is driven by pathetic feelings... Past is a good teacher and we should learn from it and change our future as we like it... thou it definitely has a mark on our present as U referred to scars but we should not stick to it and strive for getting rid of such feelings laden with pinching past... Really nice work, which the readers reads till the end without knowing what they are doing as the piece is mesmerizing.... Kudos! !

Scars are a constant reminder, but the wounds may heal! People do terrible, unforgivable things, but it's easy to tell through your poetry that you're an incredibly strong individual and have the power to push through anything. I believe you can find happiness and peace in your life because that's what you deserve, and you seem determined to not let your past weigh you down forever. Great write!
