Sealed, Delivered Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Sealed, Delivered

Let me be the letter that caresses
The folds that hold you tight.
Grant me the security of being held close and needed.
Understand that most of my letters will be blank.
As I only long for you to be near.
The lovely gift of your company.
Don't take my gesture as a blank sign of emotion.
With little to no writing at all.
I consider your body a temple.
And your presence a divine show of faith.
I trust that you will treasure me just as I treasure you.
I don't mind the wrinkles as we are both fragile.
Just as long as were together
