Despite appearances
I never let go,
Man overboard!
Sunk in an sea of answers
Of a night remembered.
Breathtaking & eccentric
A smudge on a sea of glass
Struggling for escape.
Despite appearances
I never let go,
The stars are so bright here
Laying by your side.
I've signed up for the tour
And walked the corridor
Of your eyes.
I've found a place I want to be
A place I didn't know I needed
To be.
I'm horrible at inviting myself
But soon as I saw, It was truly
Something I couldn't unsee.
Life by the sea, thank God
I can swim.
