There were young men, family
Climbing on the waterfall

I was standing tall, high above the canyon's edge

Then I called out to them
Will you catch me if I fall

But they sat their, and said nothing
Just watching to see if I would do it

Throw myself over the parapet

Seeing if I would commit
To this deadly act of self defamation
Damaging the good words of who I am

Then I slowly turned, and...

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It was disturbing not to get a response from a love one, I don't know, maybe they couldn't hear the question; over the sound, of falling water. I do love my Family and me.

And this happens at time, when u feel something and u wish to convey and message is not delivered the way you think then it is but natural to react in anger and frustration, Nice poem on this subject....10++
