Sensitivity Is The Key - Poem by Adryan Barnathan

sensitive children
of the universe
feel the ignorance
of people's hunger
we watch them act
so important,
forgetting how to
just be humble

fantastic creatures
how they'll strive
to achieve power
at any cost,
in their ends
will they find
they've merely
lost their hearts?

our heads create
our worlds
so I know

our dreams
hold the answers
they are the key,
to who we truly are
just listen in,
it's easy
then go follow
your heart.

    such wise words
    the compassion evident
    alive
    the mind holding all within
    the vast space,
    time also
    but most importantly
a fellow feeling, that touch of spirit which
    saves the heart from brutality
    a fine poem
