Shadows - Poem by Holly Gargus

I walk through these dark shadows
The cold air chilling me to the bone
Thoughts race through my mind
And doubts lurk in my soul
I feel unsure and unsafe
I need your protection from all that is evil
Support me so that I won’t fall
And please pick me up when I do
Now that I know what it is to not be alone
I don’t know if I will make it when you are gone
