She Poem by asma bahrainwala

She

Rating: 5.0

She lives in
The dark recesses
Of the mind;

Waits for a chance
To pounce, seize,
And possess;

Blinds all
Reason,
Annihilates;

Dominates all
Sanity,
Subjugates.

Pushes us in
A never-ending
Circle of doubt;

Don’t let her
Enslave
The rational intellect.

An intriguingly well composed piece. The female referred to as 'she' only can be viewed as the highest divine feminine cosmic power, who well at times may initially cause a clout of doubts in order to provide an imperfect human who's but truly an ambitiuous seeker of truth with an incentive for inspiration that in the end will provide the insight for dispelling all the doubts raised on a higher level or - the 'she' might be plain and wordly-minded woman, who might catch up in her network a person, who had rather thought of himself intil then as a perfect human, who by her powers comes to realize and thereby to eventually be given means. if sensitive enough, to overcome formerly unacknowledged shortcomings of his. Which, as a matter of facts, renders the latter a messenger of the divine, too, even of in quite some subtle way. Whith the great Goddess on high being yet the subtlest of the subtle - among her grossest mortal representatives on this earthly plane, as well as among those of hers who chance to be of the more mystically inclined type with an developped sense of the divine sparkle wothin the human - which likewise 'she' of your good poem sure is to enhance, too, in her very own feminine way.

This works in more than one way- and for me, my 'She' and her effect on my rationality is welcomed!
