fallen leaves being blown
exposing treasure trapped
hiding from winter chill
more grass would be free
by spring it will be green
pretty flowers will bloom

soon buds on naked trees
will appear seeking sun
birds come back from south
fat from seeds pickings
am still here braving all
enjoying life so beautiful
