Show me the star
and I'll show you the lover
for lovers they oft speak
of stars and of moons
passed down through the years
from mother to daughter
and father to son
these words make a heart swoon
And so it remains
in this love of a game
that starlight and moonlight
are not something new
I fear we've learned nothing
but then did we have to
for moonlight and starlight
still do what they do.
The dream is like a button switched on, and all the colours suddenley have a new meaning. There is so much in this beautiful write.I wonder if this poem will be handed down the Generations also.Love Duncan
the great majestic objects of nature wait for the heart to see and wonder as they do and if they don't still the mriacle cnotinues and will continue even if perchance all eyes disappear a fine poem
Yes lovers do tend to be in a dreamy state. But I heard it is a nice state. Lovely write Charlie, but what else could it be coming from you. Patricia
