Shrimp Sized Confidence Poem by Ted Sheridan

Shrimp Sized Confidence

Rating: 4.3

I never said so
but I always believed
you to be a fake
Your lips too perfect
Your eyes too focused
on the glass ceiling
I felt like a tanked fish
that kept its as*hole slammed shut
in an effort to keep
the bottom feeders at bay….

Nice compact poem. Actually an octopus sized confidence.

Good pun-fake you are'nt and with your confidence you let the bottom feeders out so they would'nt eat your feet- and with 800 poems under your belt you are keeping alzheimers at bay -uavaniceday regards

The poem is concise and brief and hence is focussed very sharply. Nice.
