Sight Restored Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Sight Restored

Rating: 5.0

Looking for a special place within my mind
Today that creative space is impossible to find
The phone is ringing and bills need to be paid
All the flower hues have faded to a somber jade

Aching stress is increasing from a tightening vise
A small teaspoon of 'me time, ' would certainly suffice
Inspiration begins to flows to an anticipating shore
With sense of relief… composure knocks at the door

Slowly hopeful thoughts are glistening and sparking
A calming feeling lifts my spirit before embarking
The morning rays of sun no longer strain my eyes
Unlimited vision is possible beneath a clear blue sky

A troubled void is now insulated with a silken stableness
The depth of unfulfilled dreams is replaced with ableness
To imagine and venture beyond attached ties that bind
Enables peace and tranquility to give sight to the blind
