Silent Tears Poem by Jessica Elizondo

A friend, a brother. A tear slides down my cheek as I see my best friend cry and say goodbye. He'll be back but we shall miss him. Another tear, it's a sad day. I try to cheer my bestfriend (his girlfriend) up but not words come out, for I don't know what to say. So I give her a hug a silently cry with her.


Dedicated to my best friend and her boyfriend, who is in the army. Cheer up sis and stay strong. i'm here for you for every step of the way until he comes back.
