Sisters United Forever Poem by Paula Glynn

Sisters United Forever

You are my sister and we will stay united forever,
Because we are one and have gotten it together,
All the girls and women of the world are my friends,
No one pushes my sister out the door, into the cold,
Instead we are rich, we have expensive taste,
Because we are pure, unadulterated gold,
And I attract all men to the sisterhood,
And every boy and man knows not to mess with us,
We stick together, we are united and never betray,
And when it comes to love, there're no sluts,
Even when we stray, because we are equal,
We know one another and will only offer support,
And we are all beautiful, no matter our style,
Whether chav, goth, smart, sporty, glam,
We lay it down and rejoice,
For we have found our voice,
And no man uses us or treats us like dirt,
For we can do it better than any man,
But that doesn't mean men should be hated or abandoned,
We still need our love, but let him do the dishes,
Ask yourself to grant the wishes of money and fame,
For you deserve your own special brand of fame,
And no one will forget you or your beauty,
Sisters will always know and remember your name,
No matter the years that pass.
So celebrate with us and free yourself from that abusive man,
You are important and deserve better than dirt.
