Snowing In June Poem by Shaun Cronick

Snowing In June

Rating: 5.0

I've ordered my winter woolies,
They should arrive pretty soon.
Next year's summer to be exact,
In the scorching month of June.

Winter goods posted from China,
My woolie scarf gloves and hat.
An ebay postage mistake I made,
The due date they'll arrive at.

But you can't trust this climate,
When it should be hot its cold.
It's global warming or an ice age,
Whose arrival can't be foretold.

Better order a thick woolie coat,
From the same seller to post.
When it starts snowing in June,
I will then be warm as toast.

Nice one Shaun...again I think Noel Coward would appreciate the irony of it all. It's a walking in a wonderful winterland in a T Shirt and jeans like they do in merry old Hartlepool inspired five from me!

Amazingly humorous poem. Very entertaining and an astute observation on climate. So very true, Shaun. We can never trust this climate. Beautifully conveyed and presented. Five Stars! ! !
