Here I stand before you
With only my image to show
Do you think you recognize me
As someone who you truly want to know

For when you glance into my reality
Are you ready to except
All the imperfections of my sanity
No matter what the consequence

Will it really matter to you
When things are just not right
Will it really matter to you
When my face does not smile

Do you really think you know me
Have you ever took the time
Do you really want to know me
Or do you want to stay blind

Because

You never wanted to know me
For you never took the time
Because all you ever wanted
Was to stab me in the back

So Friend

Do not lie and do not pretend
When you think of yourself as my friend
Your actions and words are the beginning
Of how our relationship will end.
