So, I Wait Poem by Randy McClave

So, I Wait

Rating: 5.0

I am all alone ever since she had died
There's now an emptiness deep inside,
Will I see her again, that I do not know
I don't even know, where to go.
So, I cried.

I looked at where she once had slept
Those memories and of love I have kept,
But, she'll never sleep there again
What is now lost, once had been.
So, I wept.

Wherever she is, she's now at rest
Death had ended her earthly quest,
No more worries and no more pain
No more thoughts, or duties to maintain.
So, is the blessed.

I think about my very own fate
The moment, the time and even the date,
In my future again she might be
Maybe once more, her I can see.
So, I wait.

A very fine tribute. And an excellent poem about death. Great job, Randy!
