Solstice Poem by Susan Lacovara

Solstice

O quiet comes the Winter Solstice
I surrender into the calm
Long be this night
And I shall greet it
Silver moon in blackened sky
Look upon me in my still and silence
Take me tender
Into a new season of my soul
