Someone They Distrust - Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar
Many will get immediately upset and disgusted,
By someone they distrust who tells them the truth.
To then defend without question or comprehending why,
A lie told by a 'friend' known to exaggerate and embellish...
Everything said not to be believed,
Because of a close relationship shared...
Regardless if honesty has never been there to discuss.
But avoid they will any truth coming up that offends.
