Something Else Poem by Kasia Fedyk

Something Else

How would it be if you could just simply
sit within someone else mind
enter it, becomes an endless tunnel
a channel of reception.
thoughts so easily inhaled
I become you, you become me

I become the ocean and you are the water
I become the sun and you the heat
I become the moon and you are the glow
I become the canvas and you are the paint
I become the flower and you the petals
I become the tree and you are the branches

Such purity of conversation is hard to come by
I imagine now that you the wine and I am the glass
from which the aroma and the taste is one
in a sip from both as lips touch and mouth tastes
such delicacy and inspiration
to the duality
and to the oneness it in which it exists

So endlessly with out any effort
we become the touch and the feel
together
maybe we find ourselves in one gesture
as my soul dives into yours
with one glance

Can you feel the fabric inhering into your skin
its part of you, when you wear it
can you feel that part as it gently transforms
your skin in to a pattern of your choice
with the garment you wear
you may be unaware of its existence
at some point
it becomes your second skin
if I was that garment I would become that part of you
you are so unaware of at times
do you see what I mean
can you paint this in your mind
I know because I have taken a step
to discover that phenomenon
by just becoming what I think
making it a reality
and what I paint in my mind
I see
I visualize endlessly
with no beginning no end
it just is.

Thank you Kasia, the second stanza is certainly something on which to reflect, in great detail.

A lovely write Kasia - you may like to read mine entitled I Am which I believe captures a similar sentiment.

Beautiful Kasia, I loved this for two reasons. First it was a celebration of understanding and adventure. Second, if your imagination will allow I have an opening for a pirate, if your interested. Please send resume of foul deeds. If you have none you can make them up. And I really loved this poem'
