Sometimes Crime Occupies Everybody's Mind Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Sometimes Crime Occupies Everybody's Mind

Sometimes crime occupies everybody's mind.
Coming as it does,
To kick a peaceful dove...
Away!

Hey,
Say...
Sometimes crime occupies everybody's mind.
Coming as it does,
To kick a peaceful dove...
Away!

And it doesn't really matter,
Where you are upon that ladder.
Or the chatter made and started...
To believe you can be saved.

Sometimes crime occupies everybody's mind.
Coming as it does,
To kick a peaceful dove...
Away!

And it seems we all are slaves,
Victimized by greed.
Teasing wishes wanted.
With a deceiving of those needs,
Without delay.

Yes it seems we all are slaves.
And vicitimzed with the taste of greed.
Teasing wishes wanted...
To appease those deceiving needs.
