Sometimes you wait for love,
And somtimes,
Love runs right by you.
They say love will find you,
What fools we humans are.
Love will not be found,
If it chooses not to be found.
Love hides in the bushes in the park,
Love hides on the benches, with the old women,
Feeding the pigeons.
Love hides in the full moon,
Behind the passing clouds.
Love hides in the briney deep,
Along with the skeletons of ancient wrecks.
Love hides in the emerald green of the forest.
And love will not come to you,
If you wait for it.
you have to meet love half way.
you have to drive your 67 mustang,
to the bowling alley,
Buy some nachos and a beer,
and sit on the stool a couple of hours.
having done your part,
Love will do the rest.
love will now come to you,
yet, she might not stay.
thats the chance,
you have to take.

Yes, love is everywhere but not for always and sometimes hard to find
love this one... you weave the tale of love with a hint of humor. well done.
