Somewhere Over The Simile. Poem by Geoffrey Fafard

Somewhere Over The Simile.

Rating: 4.0

Today was sad like midnight in the rain
And as lonely as a mountain in a storm
Making my mind loose
like a kite with a broken string
I was cranky and rampant like a de railed tram
And all those that would rescue
Were senseless like seedless cucumbers
And flopped about like rimless wheels
Blind to my needs blind to my fate Blind like a reversing pig
In fact my whole desperate day was shocking
Like the wrong end of a lightning bolt
or just maybe like the right end....!

Hi Geoffrey, love the descriptive words you use in this poem. Not sure about the bad luck and misery.
