Sonnet Poem by Tan Pratonix

Sonnet

Rating: 4.5

Just breathe in the sweet-to-be-sucked air
Of this tangy fresh sea-breezed city
Of ours. It's a pity
You don't care,
Because whatever you see
You will see only once; and the sky,
The sea, the earth, when you die,
Will never be seen again. Be

Happy; you are lucky to be alive
In this God-given, unforgettable
Experience that is life.
If you are able
To see, to feel, to cry -
Live! And the world like
A heart-throbbing rejuvenated spirit
Of a swallow will soar in ecstasy.

Tan - Breathe the fragrance of existance, experience the beauty of life in all its glory! 'For this is our mortality - no matter how brief'..............Linda
