Sonnet: The Timelessness Of Time Poem by Walterrean Salley

Sonnet: The Timelessness Of Time

Rating: 5.0

Time is timeless when there is fun
And all seems well under the sun.
Undying memories will always stay,
Although the moments fly away.

Conversations of bygone days.
The life of lovers—spent in a daze:
Are things that time seems never to faze.
Never to blot. Never to raze.

The birth of a child, who now is grown,
Makes you wonder: where has time gone?
Classic quotes and favorite songs
That’s been for ages—seem not that long.

Some matters seem only yesterday,
But on every hand, time’s at play.
