Sophia Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Sophia

Rating: 5.0

Sophia, as we speak
I see into your soul.
Can you see into mine?
Were we meant to be together?
Had we once separated
In infinite time and space?
Had we once been lovers?
Or evil enemies?
Had your tears of joy
Once dried tears of pain?
Had you been that lover
Of haters of lovers?
Or had you elusively
Escaped that vast love within?

How love or a relationship arising out of it can be so complex at some point of time, can be gauged from this poem which is kind of a psychological study based on well structured questionnaire. Thanks, Richard.
