You have accomplished
Your first milestone of your life:
You are one year old.

We are grand parents
Who gave births to your parents.
We are proud of you.

Two came from the East
Other grandparents from West
We came for your feast.

We are relatives
Your great aunts and great uncles
From Orange county.

We are your uncles
Your aunts and many cousins
Who came from East, West.

As a one year old
You do what you do the best:
You play, and you rest.

You voice simple sounds
You talk with your arms and eyes
You can make us smile.

In your parents' arms
You were cute, and you were calm
With your smiling charm.

With your Birthday cake
You took a piece and you smeared
On your clothes and face.

With your short first steps
You opened your arms with smiles
And captured our hearts.
