Soul Convincing Poem by Linda I. Weischedel

Soul Convincing

I thought your were the sweetest,
for me you were the best,
yet for some reason I couldn't release the only fear
my mind and heart suppressed,
for as of now my mind and heart will not allow me to become depressed.

No relationship comes with a guarantee,
seems I was more committed to loving you as you were to me,
I was as faithful as a partner and bestfriend could be,
you obtained your walking-papers,
and now you are totally free,
for this is the fear my mind and heart was
convinced my soul needed to see.
