Shame 2 You Poem by Linda I. Weischedel

Shame 2 You

Why do you allow another to influence such a change in you,
I thought this may have been a fad, something new,
I know that it isn't because
you're still doing things you never used to do.

Thinking of the past how you would always laugh and joke with me,
via my own assumption it seems you don't care for
the person I turned out to be,
well sorry to hear about your bad luck this is your loss because now I am very much content,
and for the first time my life is making me happy!

I don't need to know how you feel,
you not being involved in my life is actually no big deal,
though when you were that younger boy you were more of a man,
you were a person that was real.

May God watch over you in all that you do,
always remember you heart can't forget how I have always loved you.

' Why do you allow another to influence such a change in you' It's sad that we care more about what other's think of ourselves instead of being our true selves. I see it as cheating your own life. But then again, isn't that what people do, cheat? Good poem.
