Soul Humming - Poem by Christina Simmons

I'm listening to my soul, what's my soul saying....?
Protected yourself from sorrow
Build like an engine black is your colour
Keep shining like the sun, girl! Let it glow, let it flow
Through every muscle and vein sinking way down deep inside
Tired of being bruised at your leisure for pleasure so

No more pain today…Uh-huh
No more pain today…Uh-huh
No more pain today…Uh-huh

Used and abused for sure come knocking at the door, say you're
providing care then turn around and do what pleases you
Don't moan or groan so you think it's okay....mistakenly you

See A pushover... my existence is not to make your working life plain-sailing I exist only for me! Servicing organs shagging once in awhile only to keep lubricated and oiled; watch the motor my dear

As from today I'm listening to my soul
Not Gonna let you in only to cause more pain
Damaging my soul....sixth sense is fine....
Extra special cause I'm the one whom allows the sun to be where
I lay my hat: yeah baby, you better believe it it's true
Gladly welcome your presence cause I'm doing alright

Repeat chorus!
