Yo have to be true to yourself first. It must have been interesting to be in the same room as Jack Kerouac.
Absolutely to both your statements! Carl, as strange as it may sound, I feel that he's in the same room with me during this project. His soul appears to be guiding me. And really energizing me! Sounds strange. But a number of highly esteemed poets on this site seem to be on the same page.
