Springtime Poem by Paul T P Burne

Springtime

Rating: 3.0

Sit silent, feel the sun's warmth
Upon the skin, and in the blood.
An orange glow behind the eyelids.
A breeze tickling shoulder skin
A butterfly flutters past there in.
Oh springtime, oh sublime.

A beautiful poem embracing the sense of touch, feeling the warmth of sun and a tickling breeze on skin, through closed eyes, a place many of us have enjoyed when greeting warmer weather in spring.
