Stagnant Poem by Sankhajit Bhattacharjee

Stagnant

Rating: 4.8

The river has become sluggish,
the river has become stagnant-
mud is soaking the water,
debris is ceasing the flow,
thrown away garbage is polluting the environment...

The property of the river is
to flow forward, to flow on and on,
motion is the life's philosophy here.
The river wants to get cleaned from mud,
wants to kick away the debris
and wants to burn the garbage into ashes.

Motion is in the soul, in the mind,
in the senses and in the body.
The river wishes to move,
the river hates to remain stagnant.

Am I that river?
My heart tells, 'I am working 24*7 365 days'.

A well perceived work. A stagnation not good A pause is much worthy. Understanding the difference Between stagnation and pause Holds the key. Whenever feel stagnant Just pause and review It often rejuvenate. A very meaningful poem. Thank-you for sharing.
