Stand For One Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Stand For One

Rating: 5.0

It was their destiny
That was decided by almighty
World was to suffer of its own
The fate was already known

The worst was to follow
It was not to be smooth flow
Men were to be enemy of men
All were destined to act as human

Blood was to flow as freely as possible
On the name of holy cross along with hard struggle
The sons of soils were to be sent to defend
Future land was to be made safe and guarded as holy land

The course takes place on planned strategy
No one needs care or mercy
They have gone blindfold
Nothing is to be professed special or told

Nothing is understood
As per spirit for neighborhood
Forget about brethren living far and around
The place for safety is yet to be found

How can you preach and profess?
When hostility and treachery is seen on face?
Where same blood flows in street
Where from you will bring the spirit to greet?

No, all routes are tried
But people have always lied
The religion has become fake instrument
The preachers have turned cause for resentment

Stand for one and feel blessed
Principles not on wrong basis formed
I am with the poor who has tears
Waits for me to see and bears
