Steal The Night Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Steal The Night

The night whispered to the stars as it looked straight ahead to the most beautiful sight that's blessed its eye
A simple fruit, sweet to the senses
the season stays the same in their eye, yet they grew older
Deeply sighing
As they become captivated by such kiss thats caressed its eye
Beneath her brow love was heard
Content to the constant whispers that came like the wind
Erect postures, as possibilities kept the sky grounded
Awaiting every word that shone with the stars remission
Unison to each breath that has taken flight
Yet
They grew younger in the taste that felt their heart
A single thought that bloomed
Salvation where just
As the heavens erupt
Before the dawn spent in your eyes
