God,
You wonderfully manifest
and accomplish the mystery
of your communion with us.
Build up for yourself
the temple that we are
and spread your energy
everywhere to grow
ever more and more
till we reach the fullness
of the vision of peace.
I like to step in to the
blessed temple of glory
to praise you day and night.

If we are the temple (the New Testament describes us this way as living stones) then we can taste, if only a brief or little one, when worshipping with a gathered community. I particularly like singing acappella familiar hymns in our Mennonite church. I’ve enjoyed visiting your new postings, Tony—quite a few! —but now I have to get on with my morning.
