Strands In The Wind Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Strands In The Wind

Rating: 5.0

Her hair sways with the wind
Refusing to argue with which direction it goes today
Her smile welcomes each breath as a new day
Coming to life each time
The wind kisses her skin
The shivers that've become the waves
That rock the ocean to sleep
Her eyes hold the depth
Of every prayer thats caressed the sky
Searching for the tears that
Rain down the emotion felt as she wakes to a new day
Often beating the sun to it's
Errection
To watch the stars for just a moment longer
