I wish that I could find the time,
To sample each and every line
Submitted here for all to read,
All hearts attached upon a sleeve
The bits and pieces of your mind,
Recorded in erratic time
The words that come so fast and free
Asking all the world, “judge me”
They say to me “I feel your pain”,
And pull me to this page again
Some happy thoughts, though most are not
Describing all the wars we’ve fought
Reminding us, we all are one
It’s time to rest, the battle’s done
Words of love and some of hate,
From foe or friend; amalgamate
And when combined with yours and mine
Will bond us till the end of time
