Sunshine And Showers Poem by David Harris

In-between the showers
comes the rays of sunshine
to put that sparkle in our lives
as we move along.
Downpours bring our tears,
but are dried by the warmth of the sun.
Days we thought were miserable
are again filled with fun.
The black clouds are blown away
leaving us again with the sun.
However we need them both
the sunshine and the showers.
The showers bring forth new growth
and the sunshine nurtures it on.
The same happens in our lives
as the years roll on.
